# Kossuth Lajos Street, Novisad Overprint on a Colour Postcard, 1922

A purple NOVISAD stamp is overprinted across the top of the older Hungarian heading, UJVIDÉK Kossuth-Lajos-utca, Kossuth-Lajos-Gasse, physical evidence of pre-1918 postcard stock being reused and relabelled after the city passed from Hungary to the new Yugoslav state. The same two towers and the Bútorház furniture sign on the corner building recur from this street's other views, with a tram approaching and a pram at the roadside.
