# Petrovaradin Fortress, High Water Against the Quay Wall, 1927

Petrovaradin Fortress from across the river, its clock tower and long barracks ranged along the ridge above a stone quay where the water stands high against the wall. Captioned twice at lower left, in Cyrillic and Latin script, 'Grad Petrovaradin'. A handwritten greeting in Hungarian crosses the sky, signed 'Karoly', closing with 'szivelyes udvozlet' (cordial greetings).
