# Njegoševa Street, Novi Sad, Restamped for Wartime Occupation

A quiet residential street lined with plastered facades, where two cyclists and several pedestrians pass a school or institutional building. The printed caption at the bottom of the card gives the street's name as Njegoševa ulica in both Serbian Cyrillic and Latin script, with no Hungarian on the original print. A later purple rubber stamp reading Ujvidek, Neusatz has been added across the top of the card. The printed caption places the photograph in Yugoslav Novi Sad, and the stamp shows this particular card was reused with wartime Hungarian and German names afterward.
