# Franz Joseph Square, Shopfronts and a Policeman by the Column

The Novi Sad city hall and its clock tower stand at left on Ferenc József tér, with the votive column topped by a cross and saints rising at the center of the square. Shop signs for Burmann Sándor and Kovács József, along with a Kodak advertisement, mark the buildings on the right. Horse-drawn carriages cross the square and a woman in folk dress stands among the pedestrians. The caption reads only Ujvidék, Ferenc József-tér.
