# The Roman Catholic Church, a Green Kiosk at Its Foot, 1916

A close street-level view of the church, a green kiosk standing at the foot of the tower and a horse-drawn carriage with a pair of horses waiting at the bottom left. A woman in a pale dress crosses the open ground in front. Despite the February 1916 date, well into the First World War, the street shows no soldiers or military equipment, only the ordinary traffic of carts and pedestrians.
