# The Serbian Bishop's Palace, a Vendor by the Memorial Cross

A market fills the square before the Bishop's Palace, its turreted corner tower rising above awninged stalls where a vendor pushes a handcart. A tall memorial cross stands at the centre of the square and carriages wait at the palace gate. A corner shop's sign, cropped at the card's edge, ends [P]opović and repeats in Cyrillic beneath.
