# Market day on the Main Street

Market day fills the street: horse carts drawn up in rows, stalls under awnings, produce spread on the ground and crowds moving between them. A wayside cross on a stepped base stands at the centre of the roadway, trees run down the right side past an arched gateway, and a neo-Gothic spire closes the view at the far end. The card is hand-coloured and captions the street in Hungarian and German.
